The JCC Orange County Waves is the official swim team of the Merage Jewish Community Center. The JCCOC Waves meet daily Monday-Friday and Sundays (for certain groups).
The team is designed to bring swimmers to a competitive level. Currently, the Waves have over 40 Invite level (AA) swimmers, 40 Junior Olympic swimmers, 10 sectional swimmers, 5 Junior National qualifiers and 1 Olympic Trial swimmer. Based on ability levels, swimmers will practice in groups ranging from 45 min to 3 hours. All groups are instructed in stroke technique and stamina building in a positive atmosphere in which they can grow and improve.
